x = 40

x = 70

x = 110

x = 130

Two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal What is the value of xx 40x 70x 110x 130 class=

Respuesta :

The value of x is the same as the angle across from it, due to how the two angles are vertical angles. Vertical angles are always equal to each other.

For any two intersecting lines,

They form two pairs of vertical angles.vertical angles are the angles facing each other on the opposite sides of the the point of intersection.

Also we know that vertical angles are always congruent or equal.

Here the lines h & g are intersecting lines.

So vertical angles are formed.

x & 70° are vertical angles.

So x must be equal to 70°

Hence x = 70°.

Second  option is the right answer.
