There are numerous ways to practice mindfulness. Both general stress and anxiety as well as anxiety disorders can benefit from mindfulness. You can practice mindfulness on your own or with a therapist who has received training in mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques like dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
