I have no idea how to do this please help.

In this problem, we have an exponential growth function of the form
[tex]y=a(b)^x[/tex]where
a is the initial value (value of y when the value of x=0)
looking at the table
For x=0, y=8
that means
a=8
[tex]y=8(b)^x[/tex]Find out the value of b
For x=1, y=16
substitute
[tex]\begin{gathered} 16=8(b)^1 \\ 16=8(b) \\ \frac{16}{8}=b \\ b=2 \end{gathered}[/tex]therefore
the equation is
[tex]y=8(2)^x[/tex]
