Jason is buying wings and hot dogs for a party. One package of wings costs $7.75. Hot dogs cost $4.25 per pound. He must spend less than $4610. Write, salve and graph an inequality that shows how many packages of wings Jason “ can purchase

Respuesta :

Jason buy wings and the hot dogs

Total amount he spend = $4610

Let x is the number of wings He bought

Since the cost of one wing is $7.75

So, the cost of x wings are x(7.75) dollars

Let the y is the number of hot dogs

SInce the cost of one hot dog = $4.25

So, the cost of y hot dogs are y(4.25) dollars

SInce he had only $4610 So, he cann't pay more than or equal tp 4610

So, the inequality will be

[tex]\begin{gathered} \text{Price of x wings + Price of y hotdogs}\leq\text{ Total amount} \\ 7.75x+4.25y\leq4610 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now the graph of the inequality will be
