Let x be the number of pennies Ann's bank can hold

So, from the question we have that

$\begin{gathered} \frac{3}{10}x+200=\frac{1}{2}x \\ \\ multiply\text{ through by 10} \\ \\ 3x+2000=5x \\ \\ 2000=5x-3x \\ \\ 2000=2x \\ \\ x=\frac{2000}{2} \\ \\ x=1000 \end{gathered}$

The answer is 1000 pennies
