TRUTH.
In reality, all individuals have, to some degree, difficulty accepting other cultures. Some less, some more.
For a Westerner it is shocking how Oriental women are treated in some countries, where they can not drive, go out on their own, for example.
For Indians, it is shocking that people of other cultures eat cow beef, an animal sacred to them. In the same way, an American is shocked by the cambodian people eating rat meat, snake, cockroaches.
In short, these examples only portray the cultural differences and the difficulty of acceptance of other cultures. The world is diverse and what sets you apart from a culture that you consider shocking is just the place where you were born.
