She found two pairs of shorts for 25 each and four shirts with an average cost of 19 per shirt. She will have to pay 7.5% sales tax. If she buys all the items how much sales tax will she have to pay?

If she buys all the items, the total before tax would be:

T = $50+$76 = $126

The tax for her purchase will be:

Ts = $126*0.075=$9.45

the total cost of her purchase including sales tax:

Tc = T + Ts = $126 + $9.45 = $135.45
