Hmmm.. well I think the most obvious is just conviene, say you were meeting up with a friend and he/she was trying to explain where he/she was but it was too confusing, it would be super convenient if he/she just sent you her/his location via and app or something and you could find them much easier.

Another reason would be safety, my aunt gave her son a smart watch that has a gps tracker in it so if he was ever lost she could always see where he was with her app. I think that gps trackers are most useful for safeteness.

And sorry but that's all I could think of I'll keep thinking and if I think of anything else I'll let you know. ☺️
Here are my responses:
1) gps is convenient for people who like to travel out of town or for those who are looking to travel to different places in their city/state. Having easy access to directions for travel is very helpful.

2) GPS also includes features which inform you of the nearest gas stations, food stops, hotels and etc. helpful because you have a better understand of your surroundings and where you can stop to get what you need

3) GPS is also beneficial because it gives you alternate routes to get to get to one location. If there are ever closed roads or traffic, you can count on the gps to safely direct you another way (which may even be shorter).
