We have

[tex]\begin{gathered} \sqrt{x-3}+2^{\frac{x}{2}} \\ (x-3)^{\frac{1}{2}}+(2^{\frac{1}{2}})^x \\ (x-3)^{\frac{1}{2}}+(\sqrt{2})^x \end{gathered}[/tex]

Hence the answer becomes

[tex](\sqrt{2})^x+(x-3)^{\frac{1}{2}}[/tex]
