We have to evaluate the expression:

[tex]x^0y^{-4}=1\cdot y^{-4}=\frac{1}{y^4}[/tex]

for x=2 and y=3.

The value of x is elevated to the exponent 0 so the value of x^0 is always 1 for any value of x.

Then, we replace y with 3 and calculate:

[tex]x^0y^{-4}=\frac{1}{y^4}=\frac{1}{3^4}=\frac{1}{81}[/tex]

Answer: the value of the expression for x=2 and y=3 is 1/81.
