We have

[tex]\mleft(\frac{2}{3}\times\frac{2}{3}\times\frac{2}{3}\mright)+\mleft(\frac{1}{9}\times\frac{1}{9}\mright)\times\mleft(8-2\mright)[/tex]

First we have to solve the operations inside the parentheses

[tex](\frac{8}{27})+(\frac{1}{81})(6)[/tex]

then we solve the multiplication

[tex]\begin{gathered} (\frac{8}{27})+(\frac{6}{81}) \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

we need to have the same denominator in order to sum fractions

[tex]\frac{(8\times81)+(6\times27)}{27\times81}=\frac{648+162}{2187}=\frac{810}{2187}=\frac{10}{27}[/tex]

the expression simplified is 10/27
