I need help with this practice problem solving As I am really new to this, please explain step by step on how to solve this, thank you in advance for your help & clarificationTake your time, I’ll be with a pencil and paper to gather notes

Given:
4 different colored pairs of socks
4 different colored sets of shoes
Find: the probability of picking white shoes but not a white socks
Solution:
In selecting a sock that is not white, we have 3 out of 4 chances.
In selecting a white shoe, we only have 1 out of 4 chances.
To get the probability of selecting those two conditions, simply multiply each chance.
[tex]P(notwhitesocks)\times P(whiteshoes)[/tex][tex]\frac{3}{4}\times\frac{1}{4}[/tex][tex]0.75\times0.25=0.1875[/tex]Therefore, the probability of George choosing a white pair of shoes and a pair of socks that is not white is 0.1875. (Option 3)
