$y=\frac{\frac{3}{8}\cdot1520}{1}=\frac{4560}{8}=570$570 freshman students are opposed.

1/8 of remainig studens are also opposed.

Students that are not freshman: 2280

$3800-1520=2280$

1/8 are opposed:
