Given a line with gradient m that is passing through a point (x1, y1). Then the equation
of the line in point-slope form is
[tex]y-y_1=m(x-x_1)[/tex][tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex][tex]m=\frac{-1-0}{1-2}=\frac{-1}{-1}=1[/tex](x1, y1) = (2, 0)
Therefore
in point slope form
y-0=1(x - 2)
y = x - 2
