In search of a better life, people from southern and eastern Europe started entering America through its border in the late twentieth century. Cities like New York, and Washington were severely crowded with immigrants, who chose to settle down in these cities for the enhancement of the living standard. This immigration impacted native American's life a lot such- they had to fight for jobs, food, and even for living. In light of this incident, policymakers restricted immigration by 80% via policy and increase the entry of high-skilled labor into the industry. However, even most immigrants who came in the early twentieth century were able to settle down and increase their living standards.
