To convert a number from polar to rectangular we need to apply the following expressions:

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=r\cdot\cos (\theta) \\ y=r\cdot\sin (\theta) \end{gathered}[/tex]

Where r is the module of the polar number and theta is the angle. Using the values given to us we have:

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=6\cdot\cos (\frac{5\pi}{3})=3_{} \\ y=6\cdot\sin (\frac{5\pi}{3})=-5.2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The rectangular coordinates are (-5.2, 3)
