According to the explanation given in our previous session, we are going to use the Molarity formula again for this question, but we need to find the number of moles in order to use the formula:

M = n/V

To find the number of moles, we will use the given mass in the question, 20 grams of NaOH, and the given molar mass, 40.0g/mol

40g = 1 mol

20g = x moles

x = 0.5 moles of NaOH

Now we can use the molarity formula:

M = 0.5/0.48

M = 1.04 M is the molarity
