And we can rewrite this expression as:

$\log _7(x\cdot y)-\log _7z=\log _7(\frac{xy}{z})$

He forgot to apply the properties of logarithms (Product and Quotient rule) properly

The correct answer simplified is:

$\log _7(\frac{xy}{z})$
