Hi, i’m not sure how to solve this one.. i worked to find the X and i got X= 2.72 but i think i did it wrong.

We jave the following:

$\begin{gathered} ED=EB+BD \\ ED=4x+6 \\ EB=x \\ BD=30 \end{gathered}$

Therefore,

$\begin{gathered} 4x+6=x+30 \\ 4x-x=30-6 \\ x=\frac{24}{3} \\ x=8 \\ EB=8 \\ ED=4\cdot8+6=38 \end{gathered}$

the answer is

x = 8

EB = 8

ED = 38
