Hi, I was absent while my class learned this and I am unsure of how to solve for either. Any help/ explanation would be appreciated. Thanks!

Given: The figure shown
To Determine: The value of EF
Solution
Using intersecting chord theorem that describes a relation of the four line segments created by two intersecting chords within a circle. It states that the products of the lengths of the line segments on each chord are equal.
Applying the theorem to the given would give us
[tex]CD\times DP=EF\times FP[/tex]Therefore
[tex]\begin{gathered} 11cm\times9cm=EF\times10cm \\ 99cm^2=EF\times10cm \\ EF=\frac{99cm^2}{10cm} \\ EF=9.9cm \end{gathered}[/tex]2. Let us label the the image given
