He’s asking if you think that the system of checks and balances (the balance of the branches of government so one doesn’t get all the power) ie : the executive branch (the president and his cabinet) can propose laws but the legislative branch (house of representatives etc) must approve it before it gets passed so on and so forth. To continue on, do you think that the checks and balances system makes our constitution out-dated? is it not useful anymore? is it not practical anymore?
