The most accurate way to check for a pulse is on your wrist if your doing it on yourself. you could check it on your neck but the most accurate is to check it on your wrist with your index and middle finger on the opposite wrist just below the base of the thumb. you count the number of beats that you get in 15 seconds and then multiple that by 4 that's your heart rate.
