The problems that are faced by the children of single-parent family is primarily due to they tend to get lower grades, suffer more absenteeism, and have more problems relating to peers and teachers.
Absenteeism is the term used to describe absences from work that go beyond what would be deemed acceptable and customary due to vacation, personal time, or the occasional illness. Every year, reasonable absences from work are expected of employees by businesses.
