Atherosclerosis is a disorder that results from the inflammation, rupture, or erosion of atheromatous plaque in the coronary arteries due to presence of some heavy blockage materials that increase gradually.
As we know, Coronary arteries are the path that supply blood to the heart muscle. However, due to high cholesterol and high blood pressure, the inner wall of Coronary arteries becomes harder and blocks the passage of blood to the heart, which gradually causes the erosion of cell wall and tissue called as atheromatous plaque.
Therefore, the erosion will hurt the person, and the person will have internal burning or inflammation sensations. Thus, the eroded materials will collect in one place and block the passage of blood completely, and the person may die.
