One of the most prevalent infectious diseases, influenza, is a highly contagious airborne sickness that develops in seasonal epidemics and presents as an acute febrile illness with varying degrees of systemic symptoms, from mild exhaustion to respiratory failure and death.

Influenza significantly shortens people's working days and increases death.

ITS SYMPTOMS -

Acute symptoms of seasonal influenza include a high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, headache, muscle and joint discomfort, .  The cough may be strong and linger for two weeks or more. The majority of people get through fever and other symptoms in a week or less without needing to see a doctor.

But influenza can result in serious illness or even death, especially in persons who are already at high risk.
