Sample Learner Response

"The biggest test of my personality was when I got fired from my last job. Our plant laid off hundreds of people, so all the jobs in the area were getting snatched up by people who needed work. I had barely enough money to get by, and I needed a job fast. I'm an extrovert who makes friends with everyone I meet and I'm not afraid to ask for help. Luckily one of my friends told me his cousin's shop was hiring and he put in a good word for me. I interviewed that week and had a new job by the end of the week. I had to learn a bunch of new skills, but everyone there was patient and helped me learn, and now I have a new group of friends as well as a new job."
