(B) Greece, Many historians and researchers had accepted that the first institutionalized democracy was practiced in Athens, city of Greece.
There is another point of view that says, the first institutionalized democracy was practiced in Athens,
but it is also seen through various sources and evidences that, there existed a non-institutionalized democracy in tribes of hunter-gatherers long before Athens or Greece.
In non-institutionalized democracies, the decisions were taken with mutual consent in the tribes, which were closely associated with familial bonds.
Researchers now have suggested many other regions or civilizations that, might have practiced Democracy, long before the Greek civilization, such as, Phoenician civilization, Mesopotamian civilization, Indus-valley or Harappa valley civilization etc.
