What is the issue of Marji in Persepolis about?

Marji  was known to be a 10year old girl who was born in  an Islamic country, She was said to be one who held on  to her Islamic values and traditions and she was said to be caught in-between those values.

In 'Persepolis', Marji is seen to be a very religious 10-year-old girl who was known to live in Iran.

She has lived a life that is filled with comfort and stability, but in tfuture times, Marji was said to be faced with series of challenges which made her to loss some of her innocence and the movement into adulthood.

Hence, I do believe that Marji's cultural values and perspectives are more traditional.
