The basic 4 steps in first aid are-

Step 2: Plan for interventions
- Using the initial and primary assessment,
- decide how much assistance you can provide based on your knowledge and skills, and secure your own continuous safety as a rescuer.
- Plan what to do until professional help arrives
Step 3: Implement first aid
- based on initial evaluation, provide first assistance for serious injuries and life-threatening circumstances.
- If emergency personnel are on the way, don't splint wounds.
- Keep yourself secure and wait for help.
Step 4: Evaluate the situation
- Verify the arrival of medical or other professional help as soon as possible.
- Verify that the area is still secure.
- If not, think about reassessing the actions just after initial evaluation and relocating the person as cautiously as you can with assistance from passersby or other rescuers.
