Asynchronous development of hematopoietic cells within the bone marrow is the result of decreased cellularity of hematopoietic precursors in the bone marrow.

Hematopoietic stem cells are found in the peripheral blood and the bone marrow. Also called blood stem cell.

These cells begins as an unspecialized stem cell. This stem cell multiplies, and some of these new cells transform into precursor cells(Asynchronous).

After birth, and during early childhood, hematopoiesis occurs in the red marrow of the bone, with age, hematopoiesis becomes restricted to the skull, sternum, ribs, vertebrae, and pelvis.
