Most scholars agree that social factors most heavily influence how men and women behave.

According to our allocated gender, social factors in society refer to how we should behave, speak, dress, groom, and carry ourselves. For instance, girls and women are frequently expected to behave politely, be accommodating, and be nurturing.

Social factors have an impact on a variety of aspects of human behavior, including what people wear, what careers they pick, and what kinds of relationships they engage in.

Feminist movements, among other groups, have spearheaded efforts to modify parts of traditional gender norms that they see as oppressive or inaccurate. Although evidence suggests that biology contributes to gendered behavior, it is less certain how much biology influences gender roles.
