Romanesque style specialized in caving and painting of  Christian sculpture which was why it was the style that  firstly spread to the entire Catholic Europe and their sculpture depict biblical scenes while on the other hand Gothic art style  started with monumental sculpture, after which they started Christian sculpture and painting as they were influenced by Romanesque style.
