When simplifying the following expression we want to look first at adding like terms to together
2x² - 5x² = -3x²
Once the squared exponents are added together add the x’s together:
x + 7x + 7x = 15x
Now add the integers together:
1 + 5 + (-4) = 2
Since you can’t add exponents with each other unless the have the same exponent they stay the same:
The equation should look like this:
-3x² + 15x + 2 -3x²³
Now add the exponents together because it is exponents of x.
-6x^25 + 15x + 2
That is the most simplified version of the complex equation.
