Let's solve ~

x and y are values that represent the angle made by respective arcs on centre of the circle

that is :

• x = 20°

Here, Angle x + Angle z = 180°

[ because they form linear pair ]

• z + x = 180

• z = 180 - x

• z = 180 - 20

• z = 160°

Now, we can observe that angle made by Arc Y is equal to :

• y = z + x = 160° + 20° = 180°
