After eating a lunch of a sandwich and chips, the carbohydrates from the sandwich changes the amount of glucose in the blood. How does the body maintain homeostasis?

The body will stay in homeostasis by shivering to help increase metabolism of the food ingested from the lunch.

The body will try to increase the level of glucose in the blood which decreases after eating a sandwich.

The body will try to stay in homeostasis by increasing the heart rate to increase the level of glucose in the blood.

The body will try to decrease the level of glucose in the blood which increases after eating a sandwich.​
