Respuesta :

The outcome of the case of Tinker v. Des Moines enhance the Free speech in schools because the ruling cemented the students' rights to free speech in public schools.

What is the case of Tinker v. Des Moines about?

The case involves the fight for Freedom of Speech in the Schools. The Supreme court ruled that the students and teachers have a constitutional rights to freedom of speech and expression at the schoolhouse gate.

Because the ruling cemented the students' rights to free speech in public schools, i do not think the action of the teacher who edited a student essay to read at a school assembly is unconstitutional.

The act of the teacher is rather as part of his/her role in correcting the student mistake and should not be seen as a restrain on the Student's speech freedom.
