A producer is someone who makes an item to be sold. Three examples of producers in the economy would be shops, factories, and stores
A producer is an organism - either a green plant or bacterium - that creates its own food, usually is food to a consumer, and is a part of the first level of a food chain.
Three examples of producers would  include: grass, and most flowers and trees.
