To convert a decimal into a fraction put the decimal over the place it's in (for example .1 would be 1/10 because it's in the tenths place) to convert to a mixed number the fraction has to equal more than one. To make it a mixed number take away however many whole numbers are in the fraction make them whole and then keep the left over in the fraction

2.1--> 21/10 (cause 1 = 10/10 so2 =20/10)-->
2 1/10
