To convert a fraction to a percent, simply divide the numerator by the denominator and multiply the quotient (the result) by 100.

1. [tex] \frac{13}{50} [/tex]
Divide 13 by 50 to receive the quotient
13÷50=0.26
Multiply the quotient by 100 or simply move the decimal two places to the right.
0.26×100=26
Add the "percent" symbol to your answer. (%)
As a result, the percent form of [tex] \frac{13}{50} [/tex] is 26%

Similarly, all the fractions will follow the same procedure, in order for them to be converted to a percent. Simply add the percent symbol (%) after the result.

2. [tex] \frac{3}{5} = 0.6 = 60%[/tex]
3. [tex] \frac{3}{20} = 0.15 = 15%[/tex]
4. [tex] \frac{5}{8} = 0.625 = 62.5%[/tex]
5. [tex] \frac{45}{90} = 0.5 = 50%[/tex]
6. [tex] \frac{7}{5} = 1.4 = 140%[/tex]
7. [tex] \frac{19}{25} = 0.76 = 76%[/tex]

Percent means "out of 100" or "parts per 100". For cases where the numerator is larger than the denominator (improper fraction), such as 7/5, the result will be larger than 100% as well, as the total number of parts exceeds the parts available.
