Respuesta :

President Woodrow Wilson hoped to support Russia by overthrowing the Bolsheviks to create a democratic Russia.

Wilson's ideas in theory, could have helped preserve the peace in Europe and minority populations would have been more free and independent.

An economic problem that was not solved by the Versailles Treaty was concrete plans to rehabilitate Europe's shattered economy.

What did Woodrow Wilson believe?

He believed that the Bolsheviks would stop Russia from being democratic and so he (along with other allies) intervened in Russia after the Bolshevik takeover.

After WWI was over, he presented his 14 Points which could have brought peace to Europe even though they were a little vague.

One thing he called for in these points was self-determination for ethnicities which would have benefitted the minority populations of Europe as they would get their own nation.

Sadly there were problems with the peace process with the Versailles treaty excluding certain problems. For instance, there was no roadmap for the rehabilitation of the European economy which was shattered by four years of war.
