Suppressing certain evidence because it has been obtained illegally isn't ideal as the "exclusionary rule" can be practised.

What is Evidence?

This is defined as any information used in the court of law to prove something. The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits law enforcement officers from conducting unreasonable searches and seizures.

They must have a valid warrant or probable cause which when violated  the "exclusionary rule" comes into play.
