Identify two uses of each of the following

1. question mark- When asking a question (How are you?), when replying to something with a question ("The project was due... um, yesterday?" I reply, unsure.)

2. hyphen- When writing two last names (hyphenated names like Mr. Gallow-Veck), When putting two words together (like two-fold)

3. dash- Used at the end of letters before signatures, indicate a range or a pause ("It was- it was- it was a- a ghost")

4. comma- to put two sentinces together using conjunctions (she went to the park, then played soccer), used to signify additional information (Amber, who was blonde herself, sighed at the hurtful comment).

If these don't work, you can also say: When listing things (She wanted a cat, a dog, a parrot, and a rhino)

5. exclamation mark- to indicate excitement (Today was my lucky day!), to indicate something is said with emotion ("You said she was ugly!" He yelled, angered.)
