Area of Rectangle = length * width = 7 *4 = 28[tex]cm^2[/tex]
Area of Pentagon = [tex]\frac{1}{2}(b1+b2)*h[/tex]
- b1: length of one of the bases ⇒ 7cm
- b2: length of the other base ⇒ 19cm
- h: length of the height ⇒ 8 cm
Area of Pentagon = [tex]\frac{1}{2}(7 + 19)*8 = \frac{1}{2}*26*8 = 26 * 4 = 104cm^2[/tex]
Total Area = Area of Rectangle + Area of Pentagon
= 104 + 28 = 132[tex]cm^2[/tex]
