The use of atomic weapons is said to be justified only when it is the alternative way to end a  war at one instance and to hinder  the death rate of a lot of civilians.

How was the atomic bomb use justified or not?

A lot of people as well as historians have argued that the use of atomic bombing in Japan was wrong and it  is not justified.

Conclusively  many see the use of the bombs to be very inhumane in nature and  there are other ways to avert a war.  If nuclear weapons had not been used, approximately the war would have lasted for about 1 year. The effect was that Japan key cities and towns were destroyed.
