Hello!
If we reflect a point over the y-axis, then we change the sign on the x-coordinate of the point.
If we have a point (1, 2) and we reflect it over the y-axis, we now have a point (-1, 2)
So the point's y-coordinate hasn't changed.
Here we have a point
(-5, 4)
Its x-coordinate is -5. Change its sign:
(5, 4)
Remember, the x-axis is horizontal, and the y-axis is vertical.
