Answer:

Hey David,It's cool that you get to visit Ecuador. I figured it would be nice for you to know a few interesting things about it. The flag of Ecuador has three color stripes, yellow, blue, and red. Yellow is the largest and represents the rich natural resources of the country. Blue represents the color of the sea and sky. Red represents the blood shed by the soldiers and martyrs of the independence battles. The center of the flag is Ecuador’s coat of arms.

Their gestures have meaning, to signify “Sorry, the bus is full” or “Sorry, we're out of tomatoes” or anything along that line, a person sticks out the hand, as if to shake hands, and twists it almost as if waving. Also yawning in public, whistling and/or yelling to get someone's attention, and pointing with the index finger are considered impolite.

Some things in Ecuador are a lot like the United States. Their wardrobe is actually very western style in the urban parts of Ecuador. Older women tend to wear skirts and the younger ones wear pants. Even in rural parts, they mix in westernized clothing despite having their traditional clothing.Professionals wear the regular business attire, suits, ties, blouses. In terms of religion, there are more protestants and are more active, much like in the U.S. People are also generally tolerant to others beliefs, there is religious freedom.  have a great trip! Bring me back a souvenir!
