One contribution of biological sciences to the writing of African History was that we were able to understand more of the origins of certain African tribes.
African history was not as well-documented as European history and so there was a need to fill in some gaps in the origins of people.
Thanks to the biological sciences allowing for the studying of fossils, we were able to realize where certain tribes originated from such as the Bantu speakers originating from modern-day Cameroon.
