Deanna is planning to use 1.5ft by 2ft tiles to finish her kitchen floor. If her floor is 8ft by 10ft, how many tiles will she need?

Respuesta :

I believe 27 tiles. I think what you need to do here is multiply 8 ft times 10ft to find the area of the floor. Then multiply 1.5 and 2ft to figure out the area of one tile which is 3 ft. Then divide the 80ft into the 3 ft to figure out how many tiles you’ll need. It will turn into a a decimal but I rounded it up to 27 tiles.
