Use a map of your state to answer this question: what factors did the founders of your state use to determine the state's boundaries? Did your state's founders choose boundaries based on physical features or lines of longitude and latitude? (My state is Louisiana)
Louisiana borders Texas to the West, the MS River to the East. Finally, the Gulf of Mexico creates the southern border of LA. I mean it is kind of both but for you response I would put physical features. Hope this helps!
