1) His voice was filled with a sense of hope, strength, and compassion. He seemed hopeful and certain that the United States had immense power to produce an united effort when acting in accord. He used a number of rhetorical devices, like parallelism, repetition, and pathos, to express these views and beliefs. As a result of all of this, as well as the book itself, his presentation was both persuasive and remembered by everybody who heard it.

2) As a result of the moon landing announcement, this speech makes the audience proud of the United States. When President Kennedy introduced the new space program, he did so with a confident tone.
